#Oviedo, Lets discover The Principality of #Asturias in northern Spain

The city

Oviedo is the capital city of Asturias in northern Spain.Oviedo is the main city in Asturias with two hundred thousand inhabitants. It´s the administrative, commercial and educational capital of Asturias.

From eastern Asturias you will drive for 50 minutes to get Oviedo. It´s very easy to find parking close to the city centre where the main monuments, shops, restaurants, museums etc.. are located.

What to visit

The main sights are the Old Town, Fontan Square (where there is a market every morning), Uria Street,  the Town Hall and Campoamor Theatre . These places are 10 minutes walking distance from each other.
There is a mountain called Naranco Mountain where you can see Pre-romanesque monuments (it´s a UNESCO World Heritage Site). It offers you fantastic views over the city. It´s a 10 minute drive by car or you can take a bus from Uria Street.

Lovely people, beautiful landscapes, good gastronomy and cultural tourism.Do you want to know the reason by why Woody Allen is in Love with this place in the north of Spain?
